Kerry Caverly, B.S., Children and Family Development

Kerry Caverly has spent her entire professional career focusing on working families and the issue of child care.  An early childhood professional with a degree in child and family development, Kerry has spent almost two decades developing, researching and conducting classes and support sessions for parents and child care providers.  She currently oversees the development of specialty trainings including those focusing on children with special needs, teen parents, family relationships and screenings for Parents as Teachers, an international parent education and support program. Kerry was the principle writer and developer for Supporting Care Providers through Personal Visits curriculum and training.  Her article, Building Good Beginnings in Infant/Toddler Child Care: Scenes from a Work in Progress, was published by Zero to Three. Kerry's bright, enthusiastic presentation style is contagious and invites listeners to join her in capturing the joy of working with young children and their families!
